********************************************************************** ***** ORIGINAL VERSION on http://www.amelek.gda.pl/rtl8181/jtag/ ***** ********************************************************************** This is a modified version of openwince-jtag from CVS, with a new "ejtag" bus driver added. Experimental, use at your own risk, don't blame me if you damage your hardware. There is no warranty. RTL8181 bootloader flashing seems to work, other devices (RTL8186, ADM5120, AR2312) tested read-only (need volunteers with bricked boxes). Tested with a DLC5 (Xilinx) compatible cable, but any cable supported by openwince-jtag should work. See "scripts" for some examples. 1. Ovislink WL-1120AP, Planex GW-AP11SP, Abocom WP102 (RTL8181) JTAG connector (JP1): 1 - +3.3V 2 - TRST# 3 - TDI 4 - TDO 5 - TMS 6 - GND 7 - TCK 8 - RESET# 9 - GND Resistors that need to be added to the board: R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 = 4k7 (pull-up) R8, R17 = 100R (TDO, enable JTAG) Remove R17 when done with JTAG (other resistors may be left in place). 2. CN-WF514, BR-6204Wg (RTL8186) - very small connector (JP3): 1 - TRST# 3 - TDI 5 - TDO 7 - TMS 9 - TCK 11 - RESET# 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 - GND Power (+3.3V) available on JP2 pin 1. 3. BR-6104KP (ADM5120), CA8-4 (AR2312) and possibly other devices follow the standard EJTAG 2.6 connector layout: 1 - TRST# 3 - TDI 5 - TDO 7 - TMS 9 - TCK 11 - RESET# 13 - DINT (not used) 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 - GND 12 - NC (key, pin removed) 14 - +3.3V TRST# has a pull-down to GND, needs to be pulled to +3.3V through 100R.
